Work History/Resume

At first, I was dubious about the value of many of these art programs.  However, each program began to reveal important social and emotional components in the lives of the students.  I began to understand that art could be an inroad to developing teamwork, lifting depression, raising self-esteem, nurturing a sense of community, and other critical aspects for personal growth and well-being.  Who could not be inspired by this amazing discovery.  Art is not just for the viewer or the "formal artist"; art is for all of humanity.  It would seem as anthropologists suggest from their findings, that even Neanderthal Man felt this need.  My own sculpture still remains my focus. However, as a result of the many and varied teaching experiences, I feel a more cohesive bond with the world.  In my opinion, the LONE ARTIST misses much.
